Forest Pines Golf Club Sump and Drainage Installation

During this project a sump was installed on the 14th hole and drainage to the green side bunker on the 2nd. During the sump installation the existing turf was carefully removed to be re used following the ground works. In addition to the sump a swale was shaped and a carrier drain from the wet sump to the swale installed.

From the 2nd green side bunker 20lm of perforated drainage pipe was laid from the bunker base through to the semi rough. 6lm of solid pipe was installed to complete the trench into the trees and a concrete chamber. Trenches were backfilled with 4-10mm gravel.
