Huntingdon Racecourse Drainage Installation

In June Fineturf undertook the successful completion of the Huntingdon Drainage Sand Crossing and Winning Line Racecourse project, where we enhanced the track's drainage system. We installed track drainage, main drain, lateral drains, and sand slits with non-return valves in the Winning line area, ensuring efficient water management. A catch drain was supplied and installed at the track crossing, and a carrier drain was meticulously laid while being cautious of the Irrigation main. The drainage system led to the lake with a non-return valve on the main drain's end. With three lateral drains and sand slits at 1-meter intervals, we guaranteed optimal water movement for a high-performing racecourse.
