Huntingdon Racecourse Sand Slit Installation

During this visit to Huntingdon we installed 6,496lm of sand slits at 1m centres. The sand slits were 50mm wide x 500mm deep and backfilled to within 200mm of the surface using clean drainage gravel and topped up with rootzone which was then consolidated. The drainage runs were then seeded.
