Huntingdon Racecourse Sand Slit Installation

In July we installed approximately 12,000lm of sand slits at Huntingdon Racecourse. The sand slits, at 1m centres, were backfilled to within 200mm of the surface using clean drainage gravel and topped up with rootzone which was consolidated using a press wheel. The drainage runs were then seeded.
