Huntingdon Racecourse Track Crossing Renovation

During this project at Huntingdon Racecourse we repaired the track crossing. We excavated 500mm of material to create a formation for the new crossing. 300mm of type 1 stone was laid and laser levelled. 100mm of porous tarmac was laid, in two layers. We laid a geotextile membrane and finally 125mm of Poly Track. We also spread and brushed in sports sand around the track.
