Kingscroft Bowls Club Green Renovation

The community spirited Kingscroft Bowls Club was formed over 100 years ago, in 1912, and is one of the most established clubs in Leicestershire. In September and immediately following the end of season we renovated their bowling green.
The existing surface was removed using a loader tractor and big roll harvester. The surface was cultivated and then graded using our custom built mid mounted laser. 40T of rootzone was spread and ameliorated into the cultivated topsoil. Following this the green was aerated using a Wiedenmann. The new green was once again laser levelled and final preparation carried out by hand. 6:5:18 fertiliser was applied and the surface sown with Limagrain MM10.
