Leicestershire County Cricket Club Square Extension

In October we extended the main square at Leicestershire County Cricket Club by two pitches. The new area was marked out and excavated. The excavated soil was transported using low ground pressure dumpers and stored on site for the club to reuse in future projects. The formation was lightly cultivated and laser graded ready to receive loam. We supplied, spread and laser graded the loam, in layers, to give a final consolidated depth of 150mm. A 8:12:8 fertiliser was applied and the pitches sown with Limagrain MM50 seed.
