Luffenham Heath Golf Club 12th Green Drainage Installation

We have recently installed drainage on the 12th green at Luffenham Heath Golf Club, Stamford, Lincolnshire.
For each drainage run, spaced at 2m centres, two strips of existing turf was removed using a turf cutter. The turf was rolled up and stockpiled.
The trenches were excavated using a Mastenbroek 1012D trencher and laser. 80mm drainage pipe was laid and the trenches backfilled with 2-6mm gravel. The trenches were topped up with an exact 300mm layer of rootzone which was then consolidated.
Finally, the stockpiled turf was reinstated. A 100mm main drain was connected to a ditch outfall.
