Market Harborough Golf Club Ditch Excavation

Market Harborough Golf Course provides a challenge to any golfer with its many sloping fairways and challenging final 3 holes. Fineturf visited the golf club to improve the long standing wet lying 17th fairway. Using our bespoke ditching bucket an open v-ditch was excavated, running for approximately 100lm, from the problematic area into a nearby lake. The greens staff reinstated any disturbed areas and turfed the ditch banks.

During the project all weeds were removed from the courses ponds and the fairways and greens were aerated with a Wiedenmann Terra Spike.
