North Runcton Cricket Club Square Renovation
September 2015
In September we visited North Runcton cricket club in Norfolk. The project commenced by planing the saddled ends. The rest of the square was then fraise mown using a Blec Combinator. We recently purchased a tractor mounted Graden GBS1200 that boasts a 48inch working width; over twice that of the pedestrian GS04 model. This machine was used to scarify the square in 3 directions to remove any thatch and moss. Half of the seed was sown, 8T of loam applied and the square luted. Finally, the remaining half of the seed was sown and fertiliser applied.
