Putney Cricket Club Square Renovation

Putney Cricket Club, founded in 1870, have just completed an excellent season by becoming Division 2 Champions in the Fullers Brewery Surrey County League.
Fineturf were awarded the contract to complete the end of season wicket renovation. The work was completed in September 2012 and the square has taken just 4 weeks to establish a lush grass covering.
The scope of works for the project were as follows:
- Remove the existing surface, including saddles, using a GKB Combinator
- Scarify wicket in 3 directions using a Koro fitted with scarifying reel
- Apply Limagrain MM50 cricket grass seed at 30gm2
- Apply 6:5:18 fertiliser at 20gm2
- Apply 7T of Ongar loam
- Apply Limagrain MM50 cricket grass seed at 30gm2
- Apply 6:5:18 fertiliser at 20gm2
- Lute all material and drag mat
