Southwell Racecourse Artificial Track Reconstruction

Southwell Racecourse features two racetracks, a natural grass and on the outside of this an all weather artificial; that required renovation. We removed the existing surface and re graded and consolidated the stone base. A new membrane was installed, allowing water to drain through. The new surface was made from a 175mm layer of sports sand mixed with fibres. This was graded out and rolled.
