Southwell Racecourse Drainage Installation

At the start of September we returned to Southwell Racecourse, a local client who we have worked closely with for a number of years. Throughout September we have contracted at 3 racecourses all of which have required drainage works to improve winter usability. In the case of Southwell these improvements should allow the continued use of the main track rather than the artificial during the winter season.

The project concentrated on 4 areas of the course including; golf course bend, the back straight, the beginning of the home straight and the finish line. Each area received new main and lateral drains and sand slits.
