Spalding Golf Club Tee Construction
December 2015
Spalding Golf Club is one of Lincolnshires top parkland courses that has hosted a number of County Union competitions. We have recently repositioned and rotated the Xth tee to provide golfers with a better approach shot into the green.
The existing turf and topsoil were stripped and the tee rebuilt using the existing topsoil. Once the new position was set the surface was laser graded. 30T of sports sand was spread and ameliorated into the surface using a Blecavator. The levels were re-established and the final surface prepped with a pedestrian stone rake. Pre turf fertiliser was applied and Tillers turf installed.
