Trent Bridge Cricket Ground Outfield Renovation
September 2016
We have recently renovated the outfield at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. As a company we have been fortunate enough to work at this prestigious venue on a number of occasions. The outfield was scarified in 3 directions with a Sisis Veemo and the arisings collected with a Trilo Vac. The outfield was then disc seeded in 4 directions.
Construction work is now underway on the William Clarke Stand. To assist we removed an area of turf in front of this stand and laid ground protection to be used by the construction machines. Next Spring, prior to the new season, this protection will be removed and the area repaired using thick cut turf. The construction project is due to last two years and this process will be repeated following the completion of the 2017 season. In Spring 2018 the area will be re-turfed again but with fescue / bent turf, custom grown on compatible rootzone.
