Wimbledon Park Golf Course - All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Turf Installation

Having owned the freehold of the Wimbledon Park Golf Club since the early 1990s, in 2018 The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) bought out the remaining leasehold term. Their Wimbledon Park Project will redevelop the London site to expand the overall estate and tennis infrastructure, create a new, accessible public open space and improve the setting of the historic landscape and lake.
Fineturf carried out turf repairs following the Championships. This involved stripping off the existing damaged turf, carrying out deep tine aeration, all ground preparation, adding rootzone where required and laying Tillers Big Roll turf to complete the process and fully restore the surfaces.
